Interns
Each year Fenway High School welcomes a number of intern teachers from Tufts University, Harvard Graduate School of Education, Simmons College, Emmanuel College, and the University of Massachusetts-Boston. These interns work at Fenway from August through May and become important members of the Fenway faculty. They co-teach two to three courses, work in advisory sessions, and take on a variety of other responsibilities such as tutoring students and supervising after school experiences. They add energy, vitality, and diversity to the school, and their curiosity and questions push the entire school community to continually reflect on the business of education.
