The Pitch!!!
Monday, January 4th:
- Students will settle into final groups. Group will assign tasks for various members of the group. ( see homework assignments below.) Groups will come up with a name for their company.
- Groups will define the venture: continue developing the program, product ideas, location and customers. Students will draft surveys for the information they need to gather.
- Groups will draft a mission statement.
- Financial Statements: Part 1 , Lecture (Manning) on 3 type of financial statements: Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow
Homework: Draft mission statement will be due on Wednesday at the beginning of class.
Homework: Design the survey and plan to execute the survey.
Homework: Cover Sheet design draft.
Wednesday, January 6th:
- Groups will get feedback on their draft mission statements
- Financial Statements: Part 2 , Lecture on 3 types of financial statements.
Homework: Draft 3 financial statements due on Thursday at the beginning of class.
Homework: Final mission statements due on Thursday at the beginning of class.
Homework: Execute the survey.
Thursday, January 7th
- Groups receive final presentation dates, rubrics, and business plan checklist.
- Marketing and Web Design: Part 1, Lecture ( Goe) on Marketing
Homework: Final financial statements due Monday, at the beginning of class.
Homework: Final survey results due Monday, 1/11 at the beginning of class.
Homework: Cover sheet and Table of Contents draft due Monday, 1/11 at the beginning of class.
