By donating to Fenway High School, you are giving our students the chance to thrive both in and out of the classroom. At Fenway, we rely on private funding to sustain programs and resources that are essential to our goal of preparing all our students for college and the world beyond, including:
- After-School Academics: Fenway students succeed because of the academic support they receive. Students who need extra help receive dedicated, subject-specific mentoring and tutoring, while high-achieving students benefit from additional academic enrichment.
- College Access and Readiness: College counselors assist our students with every step of the college process, from identifying appropriate colleges to navigating the often-tricky world of financial aid. Students also benefit from SAT preparation courses and college visits.
- Ventures: A unique part of the Fenway experience, Ventures is a two-year career readiness program. Students learn basic financial skills, participate in internships and job shadows in their fields of interest, and create mock business plans to pitch to members of the Boston business community.
The funds Fenway High School receives from the public sources covers approximately 85% of the costs of a student’s education. In addition to the programs listed above, private donations also support crucial initiatives including library media services, curriculum development, and the arts. We rely on the generosity of our donors and community partners to provide our students with the academic and emotional support that define the Fenway experience. Thank you for your support!
The Fenway High School Fund was established to raise funds to support the school. The Fund is a 501 (c)(3) tax exempt organization classified as a public charity under section 509(a)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
